Personal Statement
I am a Creative Writing and English graduate who loves to continuously learn new skills. I’m a strong caring personality with a passion for nature and history. I have 12 years teaching experience in the leisure industry and three months voluntary experience cataloging in the special collections department. As a swimming coach I am confident in leading and managing groups of all ages and abilities. I am keen to strengthen my skills and progress them onto new places and I’m looking for a role in the heritage sector.

experience
Special Collections Volunteer
Kimberlin Library | DeMontfort University.
February - May , September 2019
I was in charge of cleaning and repackaging glass photo slides. I also organised records and digitally cataloged them on the archives Epexio system. During a weeks work experience in September I took part in the Theater Archive Project, My job was to alphabetize, date and digitally catalog a collection of London's theater programmes. I also ensured the collection was properly packed and stored in archival packaging for future reference.

I deliver fun and hard-working exercise classes to ladies with a range of abilities. I tailor my classes to suit everyone and ensure each individual is cared for within the health and safety guidelines.

Duties allow me to take responsibility of a group and deliver fun and effective swimming lessons while maintaining order. I find it challenging yet rewarding to see a pupil finally conquer their goals.
